City Golf's agent Elliot Bradley was attended and handed over the golden golf ball that was going to be used in the premiere round. This was played by the city mayor, Dirk Elkemann.

Hohenhardter Hof's managing director Ulrich Mack was very pleased with the opening ceremony and he informed the audience about the progress of the project and expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation: "With City Golf you have chosen the right partner."

Mayor Elkemann also welcomed the adventure golf course and commented that the facility will be an asset to the community and will show that everyone can play golf.
