Pirate Island Adventure Golf has opened!

The Abbey Hill Golf Centre is part of Burhill Golf and Leisure Ltd, one of the UK’s largest golf course owners and operators. The company currently operates ten golf properties across England, and in 2011 added an Adventure Golf course with a pirate theme to its Abbey Hill facility. The result exceeded all expectations!

The Adventure Golf course has been named the Pirate Island Adventure Golf, which perfectly sums up the experience it offers. There is much to delight visitors, including a large shipwreck, treasure chests, barrels and challenging obstacles. The course offers children’s party packages with food, drink and a round of golf – so there are plenty of exciting attractions for children to explore. But it’s also ideal for work kick-off events and family gatherings.

Mr Gordon Forster, General Manager of the Abbey Hill Golf Centre, comments: “We’re delighted with the course – it looks much more natural than many other mini golf and adventure golf courses. The hole with the wooden ferries and the big shipwreck is enormously popular.” He adds: “As soon as the sun comes out or school ends, we get very busy! Everyone who visits us says they want to come back. We needed something like this in Milton Keynes. The quality of the course has also been highly praised.”

The Abbey Hill course has a total of eighteen holes fully equipped with everything a pirate could possibly dream of. Players are whisked off on an adventure, and we can confidently say that a round of golf at Pirate Island Adventure Golf is like no golf experience you’ve ever had.
