12-hole City Smart Golf established in Fredericia

A 12-hole City Smart Golf has been established in the center of the ”Madsby Legepark” in Fredericia. This playground is a 75.000 square metres green oasis in the midst of Fredericia. The park is visited every year by about 350.000 guests and is therefore one of Denmark’s most popular tourist attractions.

The entrance is free throughout the year to Madsby Legepark. During the summer season, the boats, the Madsby train, the information desk, the Madsby kiosk, the barbecues and the Adventure cave are all up and running every day. The park is owned and run by the Municipaliaty of Fredericia . The park generates up to 30 employees for its upkeep and maintenance.

In Madsby Legepark you will find time and place for leisure and activities for the whole family when using the large sand playground with tube slide and the Tarzan Track Trail among others. In the summer season there is free entertainment here on weekdays with a puppet theatre. One of the big attractions are all the animals, such as birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, brush tail rats and squirrels. There are also a number eof traditional farm animals such as chickens, sheep and cows. Coatis, goas, ponies, donkeys and lamas can also be found here.

In addition they also have a circus during the summer 2014, with all that this entails. As you can see on the pictures, the elephant is a great fan of minigolf; it is so nice to walk upon… Its goal is that after this season it will be not only the world’s biggest minigolf player but also the best!
