World Adventure Golf Masters 2017 will again be played on an MOS course built by City Golf Europe

The 7th World Adventure Golf Masters 2017 (WAGM) is due to be held on the Adventure Golf course at the Zaton Holiday Resort in Zaton (Nin), Croatia on 11th – 12th September, 2017. This year, the WAGM will be played at the same location one week before the World Championships General Class on 20th – 23rd September.

The Zaton Adventure Golf course is an MOS (minigolf open standard) course, certified for world and European championships by the World Minigolf Sport Federation. The course was designed and built to MOS specifications by City Golf Europe and opened in the summer of 2016. It is the first and currently only competition course with an official license in Croatia.

Besides providing great recreational fun for all age groups and families, the 18-hole course is themed on the cultural heritage of Zaton and Nin. Many of the holes include scaled down replicas of historical buildings and monuments, like the ancient church of St. Nicholas, the Tower Kaštelina, and the remains of Nin’s Roman temple and the Nin lagoon. Decorations comprise, amongst other things, a Croatian boat, a water-driven wooden crane, Roman amphorae, a mill stone, a treasure chest as well as numerous water features complete with stone bridges and a raft. City Golf Europe also designed and built the courses which were used for the 4th and 6th World Adventure Golf Masters tournaments at in Gothenburg, Sweden (in 2014), and in Prishtina, Kosovo (in 2016).

We are the only Adventure Golf construction company to have built MOS courses used for WAGM competitions in continental Europe. The MOS course at Zaton further enhances City Golf Europe’s reputation as a builder and designer of tournament-quality MOS courses.
