Unique “Strandgolfer“ Adventure Golf Opens at Timmendorfer Strand

The newly opened “Strandgolfer“ (“Beach Golfer”) Adventure Golf course is located in the heart of the popular seaside resort of Timmendorfer Strand on the shores of the Baltic Sea, about 20 km northeast of the city of Lübeck in north Germany. Situated close to many hotels and next to the beach, the 18-hole miniature golf course is an exciting recreational attraction for children, adults and families alike.

For over 35 years, the mini golf course has been owned and successfully managed by one family. Recently the responsibility passed to the next generation of family members, who took the decision to upgrade the course from a traditional, flat, concrete mini-golf course to a creatively themed Adventure Golf course with contoured and undulating surfaces in various grades and colours of high-quality synthetic grass. The result is a unique and modern, fun-filled crazy golf course with a central theme of piracy set in maritime surroundings, with thrills and challenges at every turn.

Built during the winter months by City Golf Europe, the “Beach Golfer” Adventure Golf course was opened in time for Easter. It has already proved extremely popular with guests. The delighted owners reported a peak of over 300 players on a single day during the Easter break.
